ABOUT ADDING YOUR BUSINESS TO THE LOUISVILLE BUSINESS DIRECTORY
| This directory is for businesses in and
around Louisville, Kentucky. There are two levels of listings,
Standard and Premium. Standard listings are free, but
require that you put a link somewhere on your web site to
louisvillebusinessdirectory.com.
Premium listings cost a one-time fee of $25, but do not require a
reciprocal link.. The two levels
are compared in the table below. All listings must be approved by the Administrator before posting. Premium listings are paid via credit card through PayPal. If you select the Premium listing, after your listing is approved, you will be sent a message with a link for you to pay the $25 fee through PayPal. Your listing will be posted shortly after you make your payment.

| What if there is no category that your business fits into? Then we'll create a category for your business. For now, enter your business in the category named "Other", and contact us and state the name of your business and what category you are requesting for your business. |
| Would you like a banner advertisement on a Category page of the LouisvilleBusinessDirectory.com? Each Category has space for two banner ads, which link to the advertisers' web sites. For example, if you have a clothing consignment shop, you could have a banner ad on the Apparel page. Banner ads cost $100 per year. If you are interested in getting a banner ad for your business, contact us. |
| *** With a Premium listing you will receive a non-reciprocal incoming link to your web site, which is valued by search engines in their determination of search engine results rankings. Also, very important is the fact that a Premium listing gives you a link to your web site with excellent "anchor text." (the link itself contains keywords that will result in a higher listing in search engine results for your web site). A standard, free listing requires a reciprocal link back to http://louisvillebusinessdirectory.com. A reciprocal link is also good for search engine results, but not as good as having a non-reciprocal incoming link to your web site. |
